Loft insulation work is subject to the following conditions

• A suitable size loft access hatch must be available.
• All areas of the loft must be accessible and cleared of stored items by the customer prior to the date the work is to commence. (This can however be done for you at an extra cost)
• Loft boards will not be lifted. (This can however be done for you at an extra cost)
• Insulation is not installed under cold water storage tanks to prevent them from freezing.
• Areas above recessed lighting will not be insulated to ensure adequate ventilation and prevent overheating.
• A quotation cannot be given where there is evidence of damp, leaks, live vermin, wasps, bees, bats or birds.
• Effective loft insulation will mean your loft is likely to become very cold during the winter therefore adequate pipe insulation should be present on all exposed pipework and water tanks. Customers will be advised of any deficiency as part of the survey.
• Ceilings below the loft are inspected as part of the survey.
